@IntrusionCM Huh? No need to calculate anything. Simple rectangle and mask the shape on the left. About as complex as rounded corners on window borders, pixel perfect and GPU accelerated.

This would be embarrassing for the Gnome desktop, let alone Apple who spend like 60% of each press conference on bragging how sophisticated their design shit is and how their laptop is now 0.134mm thinner as long as you haven't got a dust particle underneath.

Afaik most menus have a rather complex alignment setup as they're boxes stacked together, so marching a specific box instead of the outer box for the menu is hard.
