You can build Backend using Python, front-end is mostly HTML/CSS and JS.

Do you really need databases and all that backend noise, or you want to work on visual aspect more.

If former, find some viable alternative to Django. You may like Flask, as it's pretty minimalistic.

If latter, thrash this Python in the corner and give JAMstack solutions a try (HTML + CSS + JS). Takes away that fullstack complexity layer and separation of concerns is always in place.

Everyone here that has done exactly what you are asking to do goes out and reads manuals.
