I had to go and read the post to see what this is all about.

I'm neither Indian nor American so I have no horse in the race, but the post does contain several bold claims and sweeping statements. Some negative that can easily qualify as stereotyping, or even racism. So I don't think the downvotes are uncalled for, or necessarily mean those who did them are snowflakes.

Edit: giving the benefit of the doubt here, you were probably refering to specific colleagues, but the statements sound like they apply to everyone. Or at least that's the impression I got.
