To be fair, selecting text, scrolling and placing the cursor is not faster with keyboard shortcuts.

My mouse has buttons for back and forth, that's so fucking awesome for navigating within code. (I'm using Jetbrains IDEs)

@nitwhiz my keyboard has one of those tiny joystick things in the middle of the keyboard

@nitwhiz I find text selection easier via keyboard than using a mouse.

@nitwhiz the joysticks save me the travel to my mouse and back , i use i3 so I rarely use my mouse, but when I need it, I'd rather use the joystick

@iiii those things still exist? Granted there's a couple still around somewhere but certainly not as prominent as they used to be.

@EpicofGilgamesh 🤮 I had a Lenovo with that little shitty red pointer thing, it was the most horrible thing to use.

@EpicofGilgamesh it is the best if you're laying on your arm and it's impractical to move your wrist. It's very handy to have both a nipple and a touchpad available.

@electrineer i love the nipple, I don't have to leave my keyboard, it's dead at the center
