I'm dreading having spam on whatsapp when i go back to work. i wish people would just use email like sensible human beings

My solution to this was: I wrote everyone that I'm no longer using WhatsApp and they can reach me on Signal. Then I uninstalled it and purged my account.
Some friends were grumpy but after a month or too switched to Signal as well.

Wait, they use WhatsApp rather than email or teams / slack? That's just plain weird in a work environment.
