Yeah seen a lot of jobs say "100% remote" and then in description be hybrid in future
-
Had the same thing. They wanted me to come to the office as and when needed, but wouldn’t commit to saying how often it meant in reality. Just that it would be “occasionally” and at my expense.
-
Just try to find the expiration date of 100% remote. If it is enough time, get the job if you need the money and start looking for other opportunities in future so you can switch job when it is the case
-
The entire job market would be fixed if platforms allowed reporting advertisers for false information, however these platforms are usually not interested in removing any ads because posting fee is their main income. For all they cared advertisers could kidnap their applicants.

qwwerty11443y@lbfalvy glassdoor reviews? ofc it doesn't help with reporting itself, but can serve as a background check for the applicant.
but yeah, blacklisting employers with misleading job offers/description on the job platforms would be nice. -
@sleek I kinda randomly got into this job and saw it was remote later, but you can use websites like https://weworkremotely.com/ to find remote jobs
