If I go long enough without food I start shaking like I am freezing to death. Can hardly move when this happens. -
cwkjwok3363yBecause they might think if they don’t look after their health and wellbeing they might need to hot-fix themselves.
However I would be tempted to carry on, considering my past experiences you can’t hot-fix yourself when you need a hot-fix and no one would care to hot-fix you.
I am trying to learn what those people are doing, building boundaries to protect my health and stop that urge. -

You don't want my bugfix running on production that was written while I was hangry.
Unless we are talking business-sinking incidents, it's completely fine for a hotfix wait for another hour so people can have their lunch. -
funny how even devs forget that devs are people too. i mean, people have a right to eat lunch? what's the point of making software if people are miserable in the process? your colleague has their priorities in order
Why do people go on lunch break while we are in the middle of hotfixing on a production site?....
