Honestly you might as well just buy an Atmel-8 and program it yourself. All the fancy arduino stuff is optional.

@Ranchonyx already did. Speaking of that I had to sacrifice my breadboard for that. I m thinking need to buy a new one.

Buy a Teensy 4. It is 600MHz Arm board. About the size of a USB drive. It has Arduino plugin. Also should be able to program from VSCode. They about $20.

Also ESP8266/ESP32 can be nice
They're arduino compatible (if you care about that) and come with a WiFi module built in
