Kind of a vague question but has anyone done the Google and Microsoft tech interviews ? I’m preparing for them at the moment and I’m curious how hard these would be

No, only the Amazon ones and they where heavy on problem solving and explaining your thoughts in the process.

Not necessarily finding the best solution but showing how you go about reasoning about the problem, identifying potential problems.

Proving that you understand how to reason in group (even if your alone) by explaining what your doing and why so a colleague might give input.

@Voxera thanks for the answer, I’ve done the Microsoft one, and it was much like you said! Still waiting on the google one. By the way I’d like to ask, has anyone gone through the complete process from another country ? They’re already talking about on-site interviews but that’s hours in plane away from where I live.
