Why the fuck do I get on a C++ interview the question if I now Javascript......everytime.... NO I DON'T WANT TO KNOW JAVASCRIPT!!!

Real coders code in C/C++ and not hipster javascript. Am I alone???(probably)

The better developers seem to blend JavaScript and C(++ or #) in their pseudo code exercises. It at least shows me they've been working in both.

I don't know what happened to make you hate JS that much, bud, but you need to blow off some steam, that you do.

I get where you're coming from but JS isn't really synonymous with hipsterism (if that's a word) even though that's what the stereotype's become now. Which is sad. JS is fun and good where it's needed, give credit where due, man. :^(

You use JS because you need to, like for website logic not because you wanna be hipster... Real programmers use language best suited for specific problem and not some Win/linux apple/samsung coke/pepsi white/black logic behind the decision which language will you use.

Two things:
1) They want to make sure you will "play nice" with the front end devs . As this is a rant, you may or may not in reality but don't be so unwilling to understand a language; at least be able to read it and understand the terms and concepts.

I think JS is going to have to give some way to other languages on the web when WebAssembly gets more traction.
