Is there an open ticket for this? Questions on SO? Are you using nightly? I have a really hard time believing that this is production behavior from slack, but I suppose enterprise software has proven itself to be significantly shitty before, so who knows.

@AlgoRythm idk. I only have escalated this along with the bot app logs to our slack admins. It's friday ffs - I'll get back to it on monday
-
@netikras it sure is Friday.
And for us in the US, it's a three day weekend too.
Both of which spell out "fuck that"! -
@netikras Juneteenth is over the weekend, so the holiday is pushed to the 20th. It's a federal holiday so yes, all of the US that follows those.
It's also rather new, it's only the second time it has been a federal holiday if I remember -
@AlgoRythm great... Working alone on Monday w/o anyone to take my HO again... :dull_face:
Juneteenth. sounds like a made-up word :D like umpteenth :D -
@AlgoRythm I have a repro
Looks like it's trying to resolve a file type and it resolves it to Python. And automatically appends the .py extension -
@netikras maybe see if there's any options to either specify file type or disable this automatic detection.... Other than that, maybe you'll be waiting for a while for a resolution
-
@AlgoRythm IDK how much the dR compression will fuck this up, but.. I have explicitly specified it's a csv fileformat

well that's curious... Apparently, when uploading a csv file via bot, Slack now appends a .py suffix to it.
I wonder what's the logic behind it. Trick as many users as possible into executing potentially malicious code?
