How many books have you read this year and which is your favorite?

Does reading RFCs count? I am currently reading one that is as long as a book XD

Children of time (adrian tchaikovsky): a scifi novel about intelligent alien spiders. changed my perspective on spiders in general and also i realized that we really fail at making up aliens most of the time. they are too close to humans and we barely realize that animals we share the world with have a more alien perspective than we can possibly imagine.

Dune is good. Godel, Esher, Bach is good and difficult but questionably worth it. Still haven't finished the latter

@soull00t you are right! Alien's definition should be altered to include things which we can see but not imagine
