Anyone here by whom I can ask any help for linux(Ubuntu) installation problem?

    I destroyed my linux sys by changing permission of my root recursively.
    now I have installed back Ubuntu gnome but this time I went with eufi boot system and every time I have to use my laptop I have to select boot option there i'm having my os

    Well I am not sure but it seems as if he installed the is in UEFI mode and that GRUB wasn't installed properly.

    @linuxxx something wrong happened with mu grub. I have to select eufi from boot menu every time I need to run Ubuntu.

    @rehman If your gtub is fucked up you might want to run boot-repair on Ubuntu (through a live disc or so), fixes about all my grub stuff!

    @rehman Not by default but search online for 'Ubuntu boot repair' and it should come up with a good ubuntuforums article!

    I think it has something to do with boot order or boot settings of my system
