Not sure what you mean - it clearly states that the product is made of leached-out collagen (most likely from the bones and skin) obtained from some grass-eating animals (mostly old cows).
If you want to have steak or milk you better also have some use for all the non-steak/milk things that come from that cattle. And collagen basically is protein. So marketing it to the body builders seems pretty logical to me. -
