Large binary size due to string literals.

Also the goal is to write something scalable. This isn’t scalable. Imagine if you had to do it until 1000.

It's a joke goddamnit why do you people take it seriously.

Nevermind I have the feeling OP is serious with their question

@Ranchonyx devs have an autistic need to be right on every format, so they take shit seriously.

It annoys me and that is why I disassociate from developers as much as I can.

    devs suck

It is fine when applying to a code monkey position (and yes, they are needed too - not everything has to be done by an actual dev).

It is a joke, so it may be pointless discussing it…

… but this stresses a great problem in education: teachers do not describe their expectations, students don’t understand exactly what they are supposed to do

And teachers blame students of their own failure

    @rov3rand0m Pretty much this.
There are infinite ways to solve any given problem and students might not have the experience necessary to realize the teacher's intention here.

So they went with the minimal and (arguably) fastest approach. It's not wrong, it's just not generic.

@AleCx04 not to mention all these silly never ending wars
    tabs vs spaces
    linux vs windows
    oop vs functional
    frontend vs backend
    sql vs nosql

@TeachMeCode and my favorite one: Emacs vs Vim

it's not a program, it's a static piece of text written in a very roundabout way. that's what's wrong with it.
