At this point hyperrealistic graphics don't even add to the experience, they're only doing this because realism and content quantity are the only two aspects in which a AAA studio can consistently beat a single indie dev by throwing more money at the project.

You have a little bit of motherboard hanging on your GPU.

I could be wrong, but that looks like a small mobo for comparison.

This is like comparing a banana to an ant and saying its Uuuge!

The picture shows the most massive GPU on the least massive board - and omits the CPU cooler, which can also be pretty massive. Without the casing and cooling, the GPU is roughly as big as the board.

And yes, you absolutely can run that GPU on that board and you absolutely can put the least beefy CPU with a pretty tiny cooler on it. It would still be a pretty decent at mining some crypto coins and cracking hashes or doing other work, which profits from massive GPU power and only needs very little assistance from the CPU.

But if you want a CPU from the same tier as the GPU, you will end up with a CPU cooler that is almost as massive as that GPU.
