    My team rejected the idea of using kotlin for the next android project we were starting 2 months ago, and suddenly after google announced it as official language they wanna convert the whole project into kotlin.

    Just me who realized that 'Interest over time' results in a rather famous acronym?

    @convict3d honestly Kotlin is such a nice language. It's like C#, Scala, and Swift had a baby.

    @deanveloper I know, Kotlin is a language with super powers... Like real super powers ๐Ÿ˜

    @deanveloper Scala is the father, Swift is the mother. C# was used as lube?

    @matsaki95 Think we should first solve how to have babies with two people of the same gender

    Someone got lucky

    @matsaki95 Not just research, it's brought into practice, to prevent mitochondrial diseases in newborns. Better get used to genetic engineering, in a few decades it will probably be considered insane and inhumane to leave the health of babies up to fate.

    Kotlin just follows Jetbrains's ideology:

    it tries to understand what you're doing and tries to adapt to it not the other way around like most of the programming languages.

    And dont' get me started on Coroutines:

    i re-factored an entire Java project just because of that!

    @plokko ++ for Coroutines ๐Ÿค™
