Damn Windows april update!
After a LOT of problems with drivers, bluetooth, etc. it even partially corrupted the font of a program, the console shows a list of data from a medical image database so i had a micro heart attack when i first saw this tinking the database was corrupted (i was checking out a problem)!
I bet it's the "smart" font re-sizing!!!

Thanks Windows 10 April update:
i'm not even mad for using my network on high priority when you were downloading the update or taking 1 freaking hour of my working time to finish the updates just to add spam to my lockscreen and an uglier task view but if you could please at least not f**k up all my Wifi, bluetooth and video driver it would be great!
Still having problem with bluetooth connection and i re-installed drivers several times!

I'm afraid of getting dumped and it's not because i fear rejection or being alone, it's just because the stack trace will be HUGE!

Find a cool package that need improvments, author has left a lot of unfinished tasks.
Fork project to fix some errors and add new features
None reply to my pool request so out of desperation i create a new project from scratch esponentially more complex
Someone finally reply to my pool request commentting that i "used mixed tab and spacing for indentation"

Kotlin
All the languages have a basic objective in mind that shapes both the language and it's community:
for c/c++ was low level hardware access and performance, for Java OOP and learning; Kotlin was mostly made to make dev life easier and tries to anticipate what you want to do instead of forcing his patterns and tries to help you instead of punishing errors.
As a dev at least i feel a little more cared about and less left alone (especially in the ugly world of Java for Android)

Why i can't approve the new "gender system"

Kotlin support on Android:
i never liked Java, not because of the language but for the usual bad design implementations and Android is one of those.
Then Kotlin arrived, it looked very promising but it's when i looked at Coroutines that it simply blew my mind:
you just have to write your code and the Kotlin's compliler "magic" will do most of the boring/complex stuff for you and it's even great performance wise!
I even refactored inter-process calls to simple sync functions with few like of code and for a non-android developer like me it's just love at first sight!

Never opened a long forgotten program you wrote to be astonished how it was well implemented?
Usually looking at old code the reaction is "WTF!did i wrote this crap?" but in some cases you can find hidden gems.

In one of my first jobs i developed an (ugly and heavly under-payed) e-commerce/media platform for a customer.
That customer was constantly making fun of his bald partner telling how he was gay, liked dicks, etc., drawing dicks and bananas as sample website logos or uploading dildo/penis images as images, he was always like this.
Once the website was ready for production i removed all the "testing" posts and images and told the client to insert some real content and alert me when it was ready for release.
Well some time after the release i got a call from that client, for the first time he was serious:

C: Hi, why there are dildo images on the server? (the website in production was full of dildo/penis images instead of actual product images, he even photoshopped the head of his partner on a penis and uploaded it!!!)
R: ehm... i told you it was on production and to stop uploading bad content....
C: Ummm ok, please fix it immediatly, thanks!

The most scary moment about running the code for the first time is when no errors are displayed and you're sure it's not because everything is working as intended but because the error is so critical it won't show itself so easly
