Basically Java memory allocation: the garbage collector should free up unused memory but in reality it's still reserved

@hypervtechnics go directly to gitlab: WAY better and even if it gets bought you could always go self hosted 😉

A LOT of website did this, especially e-commerce or retailers websites on the early 200x;
now most of them understood that is useless and could only decrement from user experience.
Aliexpress btw still uses this tricks... -
Next step: understanding you can't do everything yourself.
I'm a huge DIY fan but sometimes it's not worth both economically and quality wise.
That said nothing stops you from hacking together various products, peltiers btw are interesting but they do suck a LOT of power for an inefficient cooling compared to compressors.
PS: please do NOT use usb cables, we're talking about a power ungry little thing,usb is not meant for that -
Unplug cable: HaCkErMaN!!!1

@tecivan Dumping on IT means write to a logfile/screen the value of a variable/object for debugging.
Sometimes is usefull to add a stack trace that list all the function called to reach that point.
Sometimes in complex programs/objects the dump is really huge (see Android/Java debugging, poor mouse wheel!) -
...or Google is just waiting for someone to crack their captha so they could use the same code on car's AI

Are you sure it's not a timezone/ntp misconfiguration? Pretty common

I HATE people labeling themself with autism, ADHD, food intolerance and other crippling disorders just because they want an excuse for not commiting/working, more attentions or they just want to do what they want how they want:
they're being disrespectful to the people really crippled by those diseases and current society support them and condemn who tries to confront them. -
First of all if you think you can have premium software by paying or paying more you're totally wrong, sometimes is even the other way around!
A tool is an investment: you try to not spend too much on it but the main focus should be on the achievable result because if the tool is not up for the job you'll also earn less.
For the os choise it depends on your preferences and line of work; for me Windows can get the job done better even if i have to work on linux machines (remotely): i'm a programmer not a ethical writer so i don't mind if the best result is achieved on an "ugly/closed source/evil os", hardware wise there are pc even better than Apple on terms of quality and i don't economize on it because i need a reliable tool.
Said so i think you're more against the "dirt-cheap/DYI" approach that tries to economize on everything when they're spending more time and money on a cheaper tool; said so throwing away money won't get you the other way around. -
When your pc is touch-screen and they're pointing fingers dangerously close to the screen over your ide/dev tools...

@senzory
Girfriend tend to over-provision all the resource availables and Man kernel is not even optimized for multi threading operations;
sadly G.O.D. did not release source code and the provider may not even be so open to modification so there is not a quick way around it.
Even so someone still tries to run multiple instances of it at the same time:
i do not advise on such practice because, let alone that is against the EULA, there is a huge risk of crashing both of the instances if they tries to use the same resource and you won't be able to recover any of them. -
Girlfriend is a very resource and time intensive task and be aware that when you install it on your home it will run with administrative privileges and removes your user from the sudoers group so don't ever think about task management at that point...
