What kind of edits do you need to make?

I don’t know any but maybe there are none because pdf is not meant for editing.

Maybe you could try to convert to html, edit, than convert to pdf.

@PonySlaystation just to delete some text from pdf nothing special.

BTW i just remembered: I'll try to install a cracked Adobe Acrobat software from allmacworld! Very reliable site for cracked apple software! Installed photoshop illustrator adobe XD and others from there

God I hate PDF! It’s a pain in the butt to edit but it’s also useless as a safety mechanism because you can’t prevent it from being edited.
The perfect blend between annoying and useless.

Update: I DID IT!!! ALLMACWORLD HAS A PATCH THAT CRACKS ADOBE ACROBAT ON IMAC PERFECTLY AND I CAN FINALLY EDIT PDFS. FOR FREE. FOR EVER!!!

@Lensflare adobe created pdf. Adobe also created Acrobat software to edit pdfs they created. So they do give an option to edit. But that option is not free. BUT FOR ME ITS FREE NOW

For painting over a PDF, i use Xournal (runs fine in Wine). Not actually a PDF editor. But you can use a PDF as background and layer text and images on top. Then you can export the result as new PDF. This obviously isn't safe for redacting confidential information (convert to image, black out areas and convert back to PDF in case you want that) - but it works fine for annotations.

Grats for finding a crack though - not really libre, but if it works for you...

PDF is a proprietary format. Everybody and their moms want to make money out of it.

Have you tried Apache PDFBox? I haven't tried it myself.
