It's probably intended that you don't understand what they're saying.

I fucking hate it when they do that. Also it's disrespectful to the actors. They acted out the lines and some asshole decides, nah we don't care about this piece.

In Blade Runner 2049 there's a piss poor translation of the excellent Hungarian rant "Mi van, te bádogkatona? Hazaestél végre? Azt hiszed, kellesz valakinek? Esnél hasra, te semmirekellő!". I would have much preferred it to be left untranslated because the delivery is so good you get the point better without that text.

The person writing the subtitles is somebody like you that don't know Japanese either
