Talent Acquisition/HR: πŸ€ͺ

Dev: πŸ€ͺ

Technical Interviewer: 🧐

Dev: 🧐

Hiring Manager: 🀑

Dev: 🀑

This strategy has yielded some dishearteningly successful job application results this week.

I don't understand why hiring manager is the last. Or rather, why the dev is involved with the hiring manager.

For all I care, if technical interviewer says it's a go, hiring manager hires, and that's it, that's his fucking job, not interviewing you again.

mirroring is pretty successful in social situations because it shows others you're listening and adapting to them. people do that naturally, it's not a bad thing

@darksideofyay this one is also about adapting to the situation/occasion. Same as you are not as lively in a silent parade for a massacre as in watching a sports match.

@CoreFusionX yeah the order forms make sense unless manager time is more valuable than the engineers (both candidate and taker of tech interview).
