Don't know where you are located but it looks like that's hardly worth the effort.

devJs13322y$500/month?
I hope you live in country with very low cost of living.
Also I hope the job is of "HTML/CSS only" level of complexity because anything else is just as you described, dickslap to the face!
Find remote job and use one of those freelance companies to do your taxes, because this one doesn't have much sense! -
b2plane63952y@devJs the job title is a junior java backend engineer. Rent here is 200-300€ a month. Basically you use this salary not to live but to survive
After 1 year of working experience you get a raise of +$150 and after 2+ years you can earn more than $1000/month -
That's low even for an apprenticeship* (where to expectation is that you don't know shit and just start learning). Doing a huge-ass project for the hiring process is already a big red flag.
* assuming central/western Europe
*3 weeks after going back and forth with HR, technical interviews, 10 days of working on a whole ass complex project alone etc*
Interviewer: you're hired. Your initial salary will be $500/month and as you progress we can give you a raise
Me: ...i feel like i just got slapped with a dick across the face and spat on with a huge phlegm
