Third time my Macbook failed to Boot up...
It's time to burn it, but wait... lets take backup.

Ironically, this rant is coming from an Apple user.

    @busuu This ralely happens, but when this happens, it fucks you up... This is my 3 year old MBP, and now this shit started... like, 6 months ago... and peace @elonmusk this is just a rant... Had I not been impressed with apple, I would have not bought any Apple Product in the first place...

    Actually they are one of the most reliable and best running working machines you can get out of the box.

    Privately i use windows for obvious reasons. But as a working machine these things are a blessing for any developer. Unless you download shit that fucks up your OS.

    (btw brew Install is your friend)

    send it in for repair. 95% of the time it is a hardware problem.
    I had an old mbp that used to get really hot. I mean really hot... Had to replace 3 batteries, the ram, and the mobo. All for free because I got the 3 year apple care package.
    Mind you - i prefer dell and lenovo now.

    @mortanius given you are within your product warranty they will repair anything and most of the time you will get a replacement machine without even flinching.

    @R5on11c yeah that's all well and good but you describe a standard level of customers services offered by most companies. Have you even owned a HP (not a peasant model)? They come with next day on site engineers to fix stuff should anything happen. Their business offerings also offer this. And you don't need to buy an additional iFist Apple Care pack. 😂😂😂

    @mortanius That might be . And you are quite right, i never have had the pleasure. But working on windows machines for development outside dot net is kind of a nightmare in the details...

    With a lot of experience of hackintoshing, that seems like a software issue. Use the other Macbook to create a USB Installer and you're good to go. No need to send it to AppleCare. Maybe if you give me a clearer photo, I could tell you for sure.

    @R5on11c I can agree with that statement on cross platform development on Windows. Statisfying dependencies is always fun ride. I'm not endorsing HP mind you. I haven't had one for a while I just always remember being impressed with the next day engineer. In business I've seen this be very useful. 😊

    That's a weird error. The most I've ever gotten mine to do is a kernel panic. I think maybe you have an SSD issue or something. Interesting though, keep us posted as to what caused it.

    @aayusharyan the last line isn't necessarily the line that contains the error. That's why I asked for the full screenshot. And why would you do rm -rf /? Boot into recovery mode, download the installer, clear the partition using disk utility, and install again.

    @aayusharyan I'm not sure, but I feel there could be two possible reasons 1) RAM failure (There are a couple of "physical memory footprint exceeded" errors) or 2) A bad kext is installed by you, which could be fixed by uninstalling the kext, and regenerating the kernel cache.(Kext is the macOS equivalent of drivers). Do you remember installing something prior to the crash. If so, rm -rf it's files(google them). Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

    @notSoSerious sure, I'll look into the RAM aspect... and for the kexts... I've tried everything... Right now, trying to go to Internet Recovery Mode...

    @aayusharyan ah just assumed since it was a mbp that you had an SSD. I bet if you swapped that out not only would it run faster but probably the hard drive is what is broke so you'd fix both issues.

    In the last 5 years I've had 2 macbooks, a macbook pro and 2 iMacs. I've never had a boot problem like that. Looks like verbose mode. Try starting in recovery.

    @elonmusk still doesn't help. My friend used to work at Apple support. Says that Apple makes the worst crap ever. My experience does not disagree with that assessment.

    Is this the first time that this has happened to you. Every OS has problems. Your problem doesn't mean that Apple make shit and the others don't.

    @aayusharyan I had a Mac Book Pro from a friend to repair last week.

    It had a HDD 5000 RPM build in and the Harddisk had a head crash.

    Switched it to a SSD and upgraded it from 4GB to 8GB Ram and now it runs like a charm.

    REALLY never buy anything from Apple with a HDD. They're installing the cheapest and worst HDD on the market and after 4 years this thing will really fail you.

    ALWAYS buy a Apple product with a SSD or upgrade yourself!

    P.S. It had a HGST HDD installed. Worst cheapest crap on the market!!!

    @ninjatini The HDD is fine, I did fsck and it showed that the drive was OK, alsoI have been able to Access the Drive via Single User mode and take the Backup, so, probably HD is fine...
