    I'm waiting for the time when the AI will REALLY start to understand our shits and not just sift through them and start to explain how miserably stupid and pathetic we are... aah fun time awaits, so buckle up!

    You probably have the wrong job.

    Yes, i get it the wrong job is better than no job, but the job shouldn't make you feel like shit but being useful.

    Maybe it is because you are a women, in my view women shouldn't have to work for money. But modern society says men and women are the same and that my view is sexist, so we end up in a world where woman are feeling like shit because they have to work and men are depressed because they don't have the role of providing money for their (now non-existing) families.

    @horus I said "Maybe"

    And i think you have the wrong job. Why does working make some people feel like shit?

    @happygimp0 it's not just at work, believeee me...just like it's not just women...not saying anything... just humble observations ;}

    @happygimp0 sounds like a way to keep women trapped with a man if they've got no way of making it on their own.

    Question: is it that you think women won't be happy because they've somehow incapable of having a fulfilling career or do you believe the opposite?

    Don't get me wrong, I'm sure your heart is in a good place with what you say and you're entitled to your opinion x. Freedom of speech is important, even if I disagree with what's spoken ☮️.

    Re men feeling depressed because they don't have a "protector role" - are humans this simple? Please provide data on this if you're going to stand by it

    @happygimp0 That sounds a lot like you are giving people attributes that they did not choose themselves. Are you really trying to force cats into boxes?! Let people choose themself how they want to live.
    And just btw, I like my job. That why this post is in the joke/meme category.

    @galena aam, you know that the cats jump into boxes without anyone making them do so, right? not picking or anything...I've seen them ;)

    @We3D The point is if you force them they reeeeaaaly dont want to go into a box. But if you just let them choose they will.

    @MammaNeedHummus I don't force anyone to not work. It is just funny, someone complains they have to work and when i suggest women shouldn't have to work, i am anti women somehow? What do you want, do you want the OP work or not? If she does want to work, good for her, if not, she should not be opposed to not forcing women to work.

    Yes, a wife should depend on her husband just as a husband depends on his wife.

    Women can have a fulfilling career, but that is not the norm, most complain about having work and having to learn for work.

    For me, it is less about protecting but about being needed, someone that relies on me. Otherwise, why should i woke up and do anything? Life would be meaningless without other people needing you. That is of course my point of view, from my subjective experience. So no, i don't have data.

    @galena I've seen that too. it took 4 of us to put the kitty in our hand made paraglider ( don't worry she survived the first flight, on the second got stuck on an antenna and then she lived a long and happy life )

    @happygimp0 I don't agree. In my view, even if you're in a relationship or marriage, both people should have a stable and profitable jobs.

    There's plenty of reasons, but one of the most important one is that if, god forbid, you die or something happens to you, you don't want to put your family into a place where there is no or little income suddenly.

    Im not opposed to the idea of the man being the Provider/Protector. I actually like it and find it kinda noble and romantic, but being a protector also means not being stupid and short sighted. I'd rather allow and even support my wife in finding a fulfilling and successful line of work, than asking her to just be a housewife and a mother. Especially since we don't have any kids yet, this is still the time to expand our household stability.

    Being a man shouldnt just be about being the sole provider, that's a liability as hell.

    @galena kek, Im sure you didn't mean to imply this, but it made me chuckle when you equated forcing women into staying at home without a job being like forcing cats into a box...

    It implies that we shouldnt force women to stay at home, because they wont want to, but if we leave them to choose, they will chose to stay home on their own, like a cat going into a box only if you don't want it there...

    xD not the best example maybe. Though I get what you're saying.

    Honestly It's a dumb thing to bicker about anyway, because you shouldnt really need to make explanations as to why a women or a man should or shouldnt do X or Y. Every human can do whatever they want irregardless of sex. I fully believe that stereotypes exist and are meaningful, but just because something is probable doesn't mean we should disregard the less probable. Im not talking about staying at home specificaly, but about everything in general here.

    @Hazarth I didn't mean the cat example to be meant in the way that women will choose to stay home if they are not forced to. I meant it in the way that anyone should be allowed to decide on their own and not be forced into something. The boxes representing whatever you want to do.
    And I know such issues are kinda off to talk about on here. And online in general. As i can see that my small explanation ended up being interpreted in many different ways. As well as the rant being about ai somehow ended up with womans rights...

    @galena oh yeah! It was about AI xD the rights Talk totally hijacked your Rant...

    Well I for one see the irony, though I secretly hope that AI will continue to suck when it comes to art and music. The current state isn't all that people make it to be, totally overhyped, but it can indeed replace some really boring Jobs even now. Like making boring banners for blogs, or stupid same-y corporate-core music that even most Composers hate to make

    So it's not all bad
