Having troubles with sleeping since child hood, worsened thx to autoimmune disease.
I'm happy when I wake up and not feel like being pressed through a meat grinder. -
A glass of wine or a bottle of beer. Or physical exercise and a shower. In the winter, an electric blanket makes for a warm duvet. Read a bit of non-fiction, then I'm gone.

We3D26722yI need extensive exercise both physically and mentally to get in a sleepy mood, but when I finally get to the dream land I sleep as deep and almost nothing can disturb that =]

Root797702yExtremely difficult to get to sleep. Rum/whiskey helps. Melatonin sometimes, too.
Staying asleep is easy and I can sleep through almost anything (except my children). I rarely feel rested, though; mostly just wake up a little less exhausted. -
We3D26722y@thebiochemic what ya sayin' : live is too short to sle3p... welp the irony of this path is that it makes it even shorter...

@We3D well it's a little bit of an exaggeration i guess.
I do sleep enough on average.
However, i sleep 1.5 to 2 hours before work 2 to 3 hours after work. The rest i fill up on weekends. -
In 4 hour chunks because the first 4 hours were me sleeping at my desk by accident.

Crying in a fetal position over the death of AIX, HP-UX and Solaris, praying that corporations can ship any Linux with BSD 4-like stability.

Four-five hours a night, and then wide awake at three a.m.
Then I crash and sleep nine-ten hours on the weekends, if I'm lucky.
Once a month I'll go 2-4 days with maybe 1-2 hours of sleep a night, if that, completely exhausted and unable to fall asleep no matter what I try.
How do you sleep at night
