It's even worse than WordPress.

Wix is great because I don't need to maintain a stupid pile of CSS and HTML, just let my boss do it if it's such a simple site

@Shardj that stupid pile of css and html only becomes a pile if you let it become one. That stuff is perfectly controllable by its own.

@thebiochemic still a waste of my time when the site is that simple, Wix let's me focus on better stuff instead of tweaking CSS and HTML on the company home page

@thebiochemic I'm a backend developer/ DevOps engineer hybrid. But since the company I've been at for a year is so small I inevitably have to add buttons and tables or whatever on occasion. So if any static sites can be offloaded to Wix it's a win in my book. Frontend stuff is a waste of my time and isn't what I'm good at.

@Shardj though all your points are valid I experienced WIX fucking up the build design a few times so bad. Resulting me needing much more time to build an easy layout than building it on my own...
