I mean, I'm used to deal with serious non computers people, major part don't even speak my language and I would never ask someone "what's the architecture of the system", what are the chances that a non computer person know something like that?

For sure the guy isn't the dumbest person in the world and we can't assume everybody knows everything that we do.
