Vim is the worst creation ever imo...

(...until I forced myself to learn it...)

Care to elaborate?
This is the second Rant about Vim with no backup to the claim whatsoever.

I felt the same way last year until I actually learnt how to control it with it's various command hot keys and stuff, it's actually pretty neat, especially for focused scripting.

Though, it's not the best editor IMO. To this day I still don't know how to copy a line of code in one file and paste it into another file faster than copy, and paste with a mouse on Notepad. Other than that, I've enjoyed it.

@rtannerf you're not living on the edge of the cliff if you don't learn Vim!

@R5on11c I have no problem with vim anymore. I was referring to that time before I took the time to learn it. Because back then, it was just
weird.

@santartine that doesn't make it bad... that just states that the user does not have enough experience or knowledge to use the tool at hand.

You don't try to play an instrument you don't know and declare it bad because you can't operate it properly do you?
