It's a pretty old language, but fun -- the challenge is not to write the most efficient program, but the most delicious one.

I've been working on writing a new interpreter for it in Rust, as the existing ones aren't fully compatible with the specs and are made in Perl & Python2.

It's not easy, but it's a fun exercise. My end goal is actually to extend the language, adding things like true concurrency (a kitchen does not wait for the sous-chef!), and maybe a stronger typing system which goes beyond the dry/liquid types of pinches, dashes, cups and teaspoons.

Reminds me of Morse code. Seems about as expressive! 😂
