Especially on Windows - does it have a native lib? will it compile correctly, using the installed tool?

I once had to deal with a weird crypto lib on my windows setup.
It would not compile correctly no matter what I did.

Gave up - wrapped it in a docker, mounted the git dir into it, and called it a day.
