I'm a bad influence.

It's been a tradition for me to keep a bottle of 'desk whiskey' buried in a drawer at work. A couple weeks ago, I started inviting cube mates over for a drink on Fridays as five pm rolled around.

Soon one of them brought in a bottle of scotch. Then another.
Started observing the afternoon drink on days other than Friday, more folks got involved...

Now the CTO talks about "Whiskey O' Clock" daily.

    I quit a while ago... I liked it too much, it was getting in the way of my work... yeah... no good. But Lagavulin, Hakushu and Glenlivet were like my best buddies for a while...

    In the old days of advertisment, heavy drinking was the norm. At my last job I've worked with one of those old school designer and he talked me into drinking Gin and Tequila as early at 10 AM. 🍸

    @codePolitics a man with good taste! I quit also but Lagavulin Distillers Edition is by far the best whisky I have ever tasted. So much so that it set the benchmark for every other!
