I hate when bosses don't understand this.
If I'm staring at my screen unable to concentrate, I'm not going to get anything done.

Also, if nothing I'm doing is time-sensitive or dependent upon others, why why why must I come in at 9am? Why can't I work from 6pm-2am if I want?
