Why do we hate recruiters?

Because they don't care about the people they try and hire mostly

The recruiters I've used gets paid based on the salery I end up getting. Even though they might sell companies hard, you end up meeting them several times yourself.

Because they usually contact you if you already have a job, even a new one(Who would want to hire somebody who doesn't hesitate to leave his job after 3 months?). And they don't say which company they are working for.

Because there is no barrier to entry so literally anyone can be one. As you can imagine, this has lead to some clueless idiots taking up the role and making anything from 20-40% of my wage for it.

Because they are mostly lying baatards which don't even care to read their actual jobdescriptionif it fit's the profile. And they often don't have a moral compass, they do it mostly because of money.

Our company will not hire from recruiters because they take such a large cut of the first year salary. That could go towards an increased salary instead.
They often have no clue what they are doing or the what the job actually entails.

Are you a recruiter in disguise?
Be very careful if you are, some people here have hacked others for less
