What are your thoughts about the use of 1st or 3rd person for portfolio's bio?

When I read third person, I think Khajiit or greentext. When I read first person, I think letter or fanfiction. Not great, but better. I think you should use first person if you may, but try to keep things in objective tense and as concise as possible.
