who else is kinda disturbed and somewhat annoyed by the new apple touchbar?

Don't they have a toggle to "opt-out" and display function keys on the Bar instead?

its a pain in the ass clicking that key + alt to close windows 😕

and its not persistent,so after leaving that key the "normal" touchbar reappears - hiding all those good keys :(

I hate the touchbar. It's 100% useless.

I have it set to the option to just be as close to mimicking old func key behavior, but it's still annoying.

I've actually yet to speak to anyone who uses a new MacBook that has found the touchbar useful and likes it.

And this is why I would buy last year MacBook pro instead of this one

Actually I find it useful.
It's probably because I'm new to macOS and I don't know all the shortcuts, so having the buttons that I need displayed on the touch bar is a bless for me.

Oh and it's awesome with PowerPoint presentations, to switch between slides.
