I hate working in silence so I always have Netflix in the background. My boss doesn't mind. Anyone else does this?

YouTube let's plays or podcasts here. It's nice when you get a boss like that.

Depends on what I'm working on. I can't watch or listen to anything with dialog or understandable lyrics when I'm programming. I usually listen to binaural beats, some weird metal dubstep, or metal with vocals I can't make out.

Listentoamovie.com is pretty cool for stuff I've seen 20 times and requires less attention to follow. (visual design, html/css, data/copy-paste)

@madhatrix yeah I agree. If I have to concentrate on something I usually put some instrumental prog metal or dubstep on.

My office has a Spotify play list everyone can add tracks to, with a semi democratic procedure for vetoing unpopular tracks.
