All genders in one picture. I like.
Worst of all, they're both working as is required these days to afford a house AND both cleaning. So no one has time for living anymore. A snafu regarding emancipation. Now both genders are fucked -
Hazarth95101ythe concept of gender is made up and was hijacked to be used in weird fluid ways anyway.
As far as I'm concerned every functioning human should be able to take care of themselves. Which means every functioning human needs to know ho to clean, cook, earn some money and in general do everything one has to do to stay healthy and alive. Splitting the roles is fine, but you should never end up being dependent on each other or be surprised when you have to take over roles for the other person because they are sick, away, busy or god forbid dead.
The reason for "traditional" role separation was and still is mostly based on who stays home vs who works a job. If both of you work, then it only makes sense to be flexible about the roles. If one of you is staying at home because jobless/job hunting, or other reasons, then it makes sense for them to take over the at-home roles, it's simply efficient. -
Hazarth95101yIt's annoying that there's still plenty of people that think that traditional role separation is somehow the "correct" or "only one" way to go, and then they either decide to follow it without thinking about it, or decide to boycott it without thinking... As if it wasn't supposed to always be a strategic discussion between the people involved in the relationship and their individual situations...
forcing roles on each other without actually talking about it is caveman behavior. If you truly respect your SO then you'd talk together and split the tasks in a solution that ends up being greater than the sum of it parts. Which means you should both be happy about the arrangement, but it should also be fair. So e.g. tasks that you both dislike you could agree to do together, or to schedule them and switch... tasks that you both like would be the same thing, and tasks that only one of you likes could be predominantly taken by one party if that's what you can both agree on -
@Hazarth I gave you updoot for your nice explaination but don't agree at all. Back in the days, there was commitment to eachother and you don't think about when stuff goes wrong, you make it trough it. With the 'you should care for yourself when it goes wrong' is just on step to divorce before even started. Yh, great if both can make money but not with the idea for when it goes wrong. @Hazarth fantasie what you want but I'll spend all your freaking money while baking Apple pies at home it i want

Hazarth95101y@retoor I guess I forgot to mention some common sense is required and neither of the partners should be sociopaths or manipulators lol.
I'm also not just talking out of my ass here, this is how I approach my relationship with my SO. We talk about everything, we always have.
I mean there's still a commitment to each other in a relationship, there always will be. I didn't mean to say that you should live together but be completely separate or independent. What I wanted to say is that both should be able to take care of both themselves and each other in an event something happens. It's about knowing that not if but *when* something goes wrong, you can depend on each other other. So when I say that you shouldn't be dependent on each other, I mean that as the default position. So that when something fucks up, you will be a reliable partner. -
Tonnoman6221y@retoor capitalism will take any chance to squeeze more value out of the peasants that work for it.
-
Tonnoman6221y@retoor also, what's the point of being stuck in mariage? If a relationship is going completely off the rails being stuck in it is not a benefit.
-
Gender isn't real, people need to stop identifying with groups in general and identify as individuals.
Were all fucked up and weird, just let it buck. -
msdsk31791y@Alexanderr
You should try, it feels amazing. A toy can really improve your sex life. What is fun you can also use it during heterosexual sex too. -
@Alexanderr heh, it's just a matter of time even the lube will be skipped and you're begging it
-
@Alexanderr you're probably young. It's not a joke. See also @msdsk's comment. Find the right girl young man
-
@Alexanderr I'm laughing. Isn't sex about stelling up boundaries? You jinxed it now. Your next girlfriend probably will destroy you until you react to the name 'nancy' 😁

Tonnoman6221yI now am wondering what the ratio of girls who want to peg to guys who want to get pegged is
-
kiki351901y@Tonnoman there are two kinds of people: those who want to get pegged and those who don't admit they want to get pegged.
-
Tonnoman6221y@kiki I think once Javascript or ancient code bases get involved it's outright gore-ish
-
@kiki nothing is as nasty as rust. Writing rust is a form of getting pegged also
-
@Tonnoman do you know js still requires a ;? It just inserts it himself. Also - when js has a parse error it goes to next line and then - after the error - it checks again. Also, the original js was written in ten days. Into netscape. I know dem internals and history. I'm learning about writing languages

You gotta teach me this skill that you have. Sparking flame wars online where everyone suddenly goes from a normal peasant to a keyboard ninja warrior.
