how many of us really do use the mouse as often as we can ? or to put it another way... how many miss the days of just being very productive with keyboard shortcuts ? i find it very annoying with the mouse hindering my progress.... but then again i cant remember all the shortcuts...

I forced myself to learn all the shortcuts of my os and ide. Productivity over 9000.

Ah yes! I treat myself to a new keyboard once in a while. Just ordered a new one; the Vortex Race 3 with brown cherrys.

I learn the shortcuts of the important commands, but nevertheless I have to use the mouse constantly.

And I hate it when software does not provide shortcuts for important commands. In this case I sometimes "learn" the path to the command through the menus to fire it via window menu without using the mouse. Often that is faster than grabbing the mouse.

@erik404 yeah nothing beats a good keyboard. i made the mistake to do it cheaply. here in south africa they are pricey, but it seems that i need to go the pricey route for quality.

@ddephor awesome. yeah it kinda make sense. but the problem as you stated is that not alot of vendors provide them. one has to dig deep to find the golden keyboard shortcut nuggets
