Ayy. It's time. Someone wants to hire me to make a site for them...

How much do I charge? 😭. They also said they want it as an exclusive design that I can't do for anyone else. It's one of my first proper ones so its basically my baby

But yeah. How much is appropriate?
Do bare in mind that I'm broke af 😂. Suggestions in GBP please

You didn't said what kind of website. Complexity context can help to understand the price u_u

Break down what needs to be done and estimate how many hours it will take. Then triple it. Multiply by an hourly wage you're comfortable with to get a quote for your client. Have them pay a fraction upfront. When you're done and it took less time than the estimate, tell them as much and adjust your price down (they'll love that).

@thepra Basically just a brand site. That talks about what they do and all. And linked to the store too

Wait. I undersell it but it's cool and pretty af! AF!!!!

£50 - £100 / hour depending on how good you are, if they want a fixed price you should multiply your estimate by 1.5-3x depending on how confident you are in your estimates.

For a pretty brand site we charge from 200 to 300 dollars depending on how much effort it took
