Well my company used to bring new features into customer production environment and then move that state to the development environment to "be on the same level" :/

Just want to point out that it really was my case at my last job.

@Orionss Code review can be a dedicated team or another colleague who check commited code for bugs/errors or wrong coding standards etc. It's about trying to find mistakes in the code, which can make it unappreciated for everyone involved, although needed anyway :)
