I prefer Unbuntu distro before Arch distro but you need to know for what do you want it...

I would suggest Budgie unless you're on Arch.

I'm using KDE and XFCE. I like Cinnamon too, but it wasn't stable on Arch

KDE is what I prefere

Xfce is life. But you have to modify it a little to make it beautiful

Gnome, with about 10 plugins :D
