That currency doesn’t look like USD. It should read “x.xx” if it was, not with a comma.

@dfox It still says US in front of it, the comma might be my phone's settings.

We use Euros here, but 1.99USD is like 1.70EUR so the price didn't get converted or anything.

@dfox I just checked and I paid 2,09€ which are also 2.45$ USD. Maybe a fee that gets added by google?

@Kimmax I don't know, would be weird if they added 0.46$ (or 23.1%) to the price, you'd expect a more rounded number.

Hmm, it seems this is a per-country tax automatically added by Google for specific countries.

In Netherlands they have a 21% tax listed and in Germany they have a 19% tax listed.

Sorry about that, if we can figure out a way it might make sense to say $1.99 + tax but the tax only gets added in certain countries so would have to figure that out.

@dfox btw, has the feature "post collabs for free" been removed from devRant++?
When I subscribed, it was still there. Also, every time I try to create a collab, $9.95 is charged for each collab, but the payment fails when I try to create one. Now I can't post any collabs at all.

@tracktraps it sounds like you’re using an old version of the app maybe? All collabs are free to post now, and we’re replacing that devRant++ benefit with other benefits like the black theme (more themes to come) and some other stuff coming soon :)

@dfox every country has different laws on taxes. I guess I just have bad luck that my country likes to put taxes on things. :P
