@linuxxx no many spy things can be "disabled" in linux and so. i tried all distributives. mean every. any is garbage. ubuntu and arch are best of them. first because lot of answers how to. other because lot of new software.

As much as I can understand
    - no one spies on your activities or tracks user activity
    - he has used almost all Linux distribution and apart from Ubuntu and arch all of them are garbage
    - there is huge community support if you get stuck in Ubuntu or arch, hence 'how to'
    - there are lots of software available for these two Linux distro

I swear, Indians are the only ones who speak in their language on DevRant. The only ones. I mean, have some respect guys. We've successfully managed to ruin Facebook for everyone else, just.. Let THIS be what it was supposed to be at least. (Yes, I just compared DevRant with Facebook, it's sad, but it's come to that now)

    Macintosh

@biryanisalan from my experience, Germans do it more often than Indians.

@sSam Well, I guess this goes for everyone then. Let's all just keep a public platform truly public.

@biryanisalan hey man I know what we do isn't appreciated but as @sSam said Germans do it too and for God's sake if you have any problem with that than report the comment or post. Our language makes us feel that special bond, we feel someone from our family is here. We really don't want to offend someone nor we want to change the way devRant works.

For web? Linux or Mac really, web tools are more fit to nix like environments. For mobile I will say Mac because you can do ios and Android since apple is anal regarding a close environment. Windows has no real value to me unless you are working in .net which I do not care much for really. The only good thing about windows comes if you are doing cad like development in which a powered up windows pc is best. The os is unstable in my opinion and I hate having to ctrl alt del every fucking day on even powerfull pcs. For me it is all about Linux Lite, ubuntu, arch, fedora and OS X

If I knew macOS was an option I'd have said that instead x3 I have a cross compiler for Debian and Windows on my Mac. Meaning I can develop for Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, tvOS, and web, all from my machine. Then I use virtual machines for testing.
