This is my iphone charger. I have to charge my phone 32 hours per day because the battery is dogshit.

U can see how fucked it is from charging so much. The cable itself ripped apart and u can see the wires inside but no wires are sticking out.

I get ZAPPED when i touch anything in my environment. Anything i touch electrocutes me. Like im the fucking Zeus.

Could this cable be the reason?

    You might want to get a new one. Doesn’t need to be from Apple directly, you can get one for 5 bucks on amazon.

    if you’re getting static shock it could be your carpeting

    My office used to have a carpet flooring that would shock everyone when we touched metal, to the point where people touched their macbooks elbows first. 😅

    They changed it and now no one is getting shocked anymore

    @jiraTicket i had that happen a lot with certain types of shoes and surfaces i the office. What i did to discharge myself, is just carry a key or something out of metal around, and touch something grounded like a door handle etc with the key instead before touching it directly. The spark will happen at the key instead of your hand 👌

    it always fascinated me this is how most of the apple lightning cables look like after some time of intensive use ... while even the cheapest premiumcord USB cables are somehow surviving the same usage in the same environment for years

    @Lensflare Apple has some pretty shitty charging cables. (But they're far from alone, lots of vendors include cheap cables with their products).

    However, that cable looks abused.
