@calmyourtities haha the idea got dropped cause using php was too slow for kernel dev due to each script having to be interpreted at runtime along with the safety checks that were required. And before the PHP sucks people show up this is true with any interpreted language including python. Which is the reason c and assembly are the languages of choice for os development

Get after it. My days of screwing around with os development is long over. But a php compiler... sounds legit, especially since i see a java link on that tutorial page.

@linuxxxxxx the future is webassembly, bytecode in the browser. With wasm you could run an operation system and crysis in the browser.

I'm pretty sure, graphics are the bottleneck for Crysis.
