Statistics. Tbh, it is way more. Didn't use the codeium plugin for a long time. Regarding key presses i'm in the 0.10%. Longest streak is not impressive. 21 on codeium and 40 on github or so.

At this moment I'm very happy with the plugin, it knows me completely. * tab tab tab *. Almost always knows what I want to do. It advanced a lot last year, I did quit a few times on it last year for few months because it often sucked. Now it's perfect. Especially under VIM it's very cool!

Codeium did 700 autocompletions for me this week. I can see it evolving and getting better. Had deleted it a few months ago and use it again since a few weeks. Much changed. The autocompletion quality is great. It does what Ive would've done based on my project. I use quite consistent naming and it even generates good function names. I consider the autocomplete of codeium a huge success. I didn't use the chat tho, not interested in prompt engineering. I'm faster myself regarding doing it well. It also comes with a nice statistics page and is considered to be better than copilot. Didn't use copilot myself. Anyone else experience with both?

Codeium or Github Copilot?

Some of you are aware what emails I send to companies to bash them very accurate to the bone and even emphasize them how dissapointed I am. I make it very personal. You fuckers wasted my time.

But, when someone does it well, I also say it. I've sent my second love email to codeium and they responded. But this time, it was AI and it was noted under the message that it was made with AI. OpenAI doesn't do that. So again, my respect raised for them.

I only use their auto complete feature while they offer a complete ide and stuff. But auto complete so well based on my own way of coding is just made in heaven. Codeium really affected my life in positive way. I mean, I really like to everything myself but not using their autocomplete would be even stupid imho.

I also really like that I'm in the top 0.01% users while using the free version 😂 But I'm just only interested in that 😂vibe coding is just not a thing at all yet, not in the neighborhood. Only if you have no vision regarding code style tbh. Won't not even call theirs bad, but it's just not mine.
