I can tell you from experience that the best mentor out there is you yourself. Nobody else will be able to give you more motivation and power of will than you.
I say, take the money you want to spend on mentoring services and take someone pretty to dinner. It'll do you alot better.
But before that, I think the best way to learn programming is to get yourself a project. There are alot of websites out there that can give you great ideas on what to do. I'd recommend writing a simple server.

And if you ever see a task that you think, "oh shit, I cant do that", just remember:
The best engineers are the ones that solved problems they weren't qualified to solve.

Amazing OOP language that just always keeps surprising me with how amazing it is, and it has a lot of focus on the small parts of programming languages that you need to be a pro at the language to really understand and appreciate.

Also, since it's compatible with Java Byte Code, you can import every Java package out there, so you dont have to deal with Kotlin missing crucial packages due to its relatively new status.

@jAsE you don't need anything special to compile and run C code, but you do need to download and configure Java if you want to compile and run Java or Kotlin. I think that the why it needs alot of configuration. Also, being able to configure every bit of your stuff is very important for many people.
