that calls for childish response of changing it to something ridiculous
-
@heyheni sure someone done that somewhere :) .. I am excited for potential improvement in position resolution with less beacons maybe.
-
devious tip here ... if your friend is using this version of VR .. bring small neodymium magnet with you .. he will be tripping like crazy, but please catch him.
-
how do they force the IDE you work in ? I mean, do they look while you code or is there some specific add-on you must use or what ? what is preventing you from using your preferred one and netbeans only when they look at source ?
-
nail gun ... the kind that uses .22 cartridge
-
Might be childish but i have some movies that work on me .. like if i want to motivate myself to do electronics projects i watch iron man :D
-
I completely missed the DC 120 part and thought that, because of the weird cutouts it can accommodate both US (flat) and EU (round) plugs.
Btw that must spark like hell .. dc .. or am i wrong? -
Nice collection, i get you .. this was my last year "christmas tree" ( its not hollow )
-
So .. i asume devrant deletes user coments after they leave ? ( Algo brought me here )
-
@billgates its been a long time since i played so i am not sure about the mechanics, but i think yes, as you progres in story more area is available to you and also the unlocks ( guns, vehicles and so on ).
That remained me also Far Cry ... The same thing if story doesnt entertain you, try to find save where story is done but still have camps to raid and capture -
How about just cause 4 or 3 and find save where missions are completed but there is still plenty of stuff to destroy left.
-
@Elyz exactly, my biggest hurdle was getting started, open the editor and setup all i need. I was just plain lazy, so i automated it, one script execution and everything is setup as i need, and i started to write logs. Not program logs but what have i done , that way it's easy for me to get right into the right mindset.

@GyroGearloose right click the body object and in context menu find "save as STL" fusion has great support for 3d printing, second option is in top menu "make->3D print". I prefer the first one
Edit: right click the object in object tree on the left of screen
Edit2: or just google "fusion360 save stl" first result is with pictures -
@GyroGearloose well, you can create new sketch on that wall and edit that. Or if you want extrude from one 2D contour to different 2D contour, ( from square to circle) create->loft i think it's the command. Or you had something else in mind?
And no problem ;) -
@GyroGearloose fusion is doing the backup for you in this case, and has options for organizing projects into folder structure. I didnt even tried to find where are local project files yet.
-
@GyroGearloose be warned thou .. if you design willy nilly it will become mess :D just like in coding there are best practises to get the most out of your tool :)
-
@GyroGearloose by default private i think .. if nothing changed but it shouldn't. And what about local folders ? Your projects are both local and on server. So no worries about internet connectivity but if you're using two machines, they will sync.
-
@borderless tbh didnt recognize what he was using and personally have no experience in solidworks so i cant say anything about it .... I started in autocad and catia now using fusion for CAM also. And i am really happy with it. Yes, sometimes resposivity lags with more complicated assemblies, esspecialy on lower end machines, but thats just price for nice UX that i am willing to pay. And i dont think it lacks features or tools. At least i didnt find case when it was limiting me.
-
@GyroGearloose i would highly recomend fusion360 for design .. and including everithing even the bolts. Its easy there thanks to abillity to import hardware parts from mcmaster. Its not 100% foolproof .. but making designs in this way helped me a lot with unexpected clearance issues.

With face recognition - if you dont smile app crashes :D
-
@11000100111000 why is it that way? Just curious ..
-
What material are u using that it expands so much ? Never had problems with that ... Btw add me to your 3d printing list please :)
-
Thank you sir for giving me some new tools to play with.
-
Just look at price tag, that shoud calm you down ;). If not, just for fun calculate what it would cost you to go full apple :D
-
Yes .. this system is closed loop since you can directly measure the real value with acc & gyro.
I would sugest to read about PID regulation you will most definetly want to use it. And make a rig for your drone that wil constrain it in all but one axis so you can focus only on one and experiment on it / tune it ... Then something that will alow 2 axis movement ( roll, pitch for example ) and then you may start trying free flight.
Your first goal is to make that thing stable, so it can maintain hover in one place on its own, or in one axis stable when you starting ..it will be hard but when you will have this, turning and moving is basicaly only telling it you want it stable at not 0 but 15deg so it goes forward. -
I still think there are and will be the top notch programers, really smart people with pasion for it but as their numbers grow in tens ... The bellow average, from courses learning developers grow thousands times faster. I can see something like this at our and neighboring universities.
-
@RedPolygon ok, so can you explain more about the problem? What do you mean exactly by autosteer? And what do you already have working ?
-
Do you want to build the main controll board yourself ? Its far easyer ( and cheaper ) to just buy one off the available boards that solves your stabillity controll and feed it higher level commands ( forward, lower, higher ... ). But if you want to build one, good luck to you. Its fun but challenging project.
-
Exactly what @Ximidar said, but with one adition if i may, compare/look at accelerations also.
-
@GyroGearloose I'm a bit late since you already bought your first ESC but check if its blheli - compatible. blheli is custom firmware for ESC some come right out of the box with this firmware some not but are compatible, so you can burn them with this firmware and others neither. If your board is compatible you can change some interesting values and tweek how your ESC drives the motor.
