WTF! Didn't you question them for why they were letting you go?
Hope you got a good severance package. -
@12bitfloat woooosh maybe?
-
@DEVil666 nice.
I need to get AC/DC tshirt. -
@CruN those credits would require a minimum purchase so those are worthless, unless you want to make those purchases.
I feel bad for you. -
@Frederick majority of tech applications are for unethical use, because corporate greed.
-
@Frederick future of humanity, especially with tech, never looked bright my lad.
-
@OmerFlame I can sympathise too.
We have a food delivery service called Zomato, which did it.
They ended up making customers hate them even more. -
@DeepHotel glad to hear that :)
-
@hubiruchi my response was
"Sure, let me prioritise this and get back to you with high level requirement doc (because he isn't a fan of analysis), and we can immediately start working on it".
CTO: that's the spirit. I really admire your zeal Floyd.
I take my brownie point, exit the conversation, and forget about it. Because he'll come up with something new and he himself will forget about this issue.
And as predicted, haven't heard from him or his team on the issue. -
I trust Google/Microsoft more than these companies.
Because.. -
There was a post recently on r/DataIsBeautiful that showed the trend of the browsers.
Mozilla was not only declining, but also was lowest as compared to others like Safari.
I feel that these try hard open source products like Mozilla/DuckDuckGo force themselves on a community and once they gain their desired traction, the said community is betrayed. -
@Root this was his exact reasoning behind the decision.
-
Wanna talk about it mate?
-
I find hackathons a scam.
Feed them pizza and burn them out by making them work overtime on weekends. -
With recent Telegram update, they did the similar thing, put bunch of features behind the pay wall.
I don't think it's smart, but rather a regular (no brainer) business decision.
They never said it was free forever, and they too have to make money.
With co-pilot, what sucks is that they used open source to build/train their model and now monetising it. -
Why is he reminding you then when you folks are not required to join?
-
@darksideofyay girl prank vs boy prank.
-
@dotenvironment why an extra zero?
-
@fruitfcker I need to travel to Europe, enjoy some art, attend some music gig, and hangout with some nice people.

@grospataplouf
>could mean that your mind is shutting down emotions because of too much stress
Overwhelmed with responsibilities, with no support from anyone, and increasing demand to provide and meet expectations.
I have a life insurance, if I die due to stress, folks will get money, because that's all they want and care about.
Unless I leave my house and go to far lands, living by myself, I don't think I can pull this off. I don't even want to put efforts to change the environment, because everything I do, I will be outnumbered and it will be futile.
@KryptonTurtle I LOVE PETS. I want it. Due to lack of real estate and privacy, I cannot get a pet. Otherwise, I would.
Yes, I have done a lot of volunteering in past. It felt good, though not useful in longer term. -
@darksideofyay sounds like a good place to be. Tell me more about your city.
